Eminem Got Fat

He looks.. different, from what I remember.

If you follow music, you probably get the hint of the title. I am a … err.. I was a huge Eminem fan. When I was in third grade, I woke up every single morning during the school year to Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady” on MTV(it was the only way my mom could wake me up). If you took songs from his prime in the late 90′s and very early 2000′s, compare those to anything afterward, you would understand how horribly he fell off. Not saying he became dirt, but he lost his touch for sure. No, he did not regain his touch, but after listening to “Not Afraid,” I must say he strikes something. It’s not like he hit gold during the gold rush, but he is back(somewhat). I didn’t even listen to the rest of the album, so this whole post could be a senseless, “I fell for the one hit wonder” post after hearing the rest of it fairly soon. I guess this post should have been more about how impressed I was with “Not Afraid,” oh well. If you’re a fan of the old Em, give it a try.

Maybe I’m just disappointed with the guy. He went from reckless, tooshi-hanging out, curse word every three words; to a guy who dresses in suits one second and changes into a FUBU(don’t act like you don’t remember what FUBU is or was) sweater the next. People these days.. I tell ya.
